Hypothetical Example <$20 million annual turnover

If your annual turnover is less than $20 million, you’re eligible to claim 43.5% on R&D expenditure as a cash refund.

Therefore you will receive a refundable tax offset of $435,000 ($1,000,000*43.5%)
